The Bellagio Conservatory is a must for every visitor coming to Las Vegas. The Bellagio conservatory’s gorgeous floral designs that change with each season make for an astounding visual experience that smells incredible too. But the dining experience at the Bellagio Conservatory makes for an exclusive experience but that is similar to an interactive art installation, where you become apart of the show. This might not be for everyone but it made for an unforgettable experience.

The Bellagio Conservatory Dining Experience

We made our reservation 3 weeks prior on The Bellagio website for an unforgettable dim sum experience. The Bellagio Conservatory updates their 14,000 sq ft space every season to reflect the time of year. During the Lunar New Year the Bellagio conservatory becomes rich with iconography and symbolism. Depending on the animal of the year, 2023 it was the year of the rabbit, you’ll see imagery or rabbits (2023) or dragons (2024) for example.

During the Lunar New Year, the dining experience consists of a special 8 course dim sum meal. It is a special experience as the dining table is situated within the floral display, you become part of the experience. You become one of the “things” to look at which isn’t for everyone. Once you get over the awe you’re inspiring within most of the onlookers, you start to relax and enjoy your own special lunch.

For the year of the rabbit we had a menu of 8 dim sum treasures for $88 per person (2023 lunch pricing):

  • Abalone Shui Mai
  • Vegetable Blossom Dumpling
  • Barbeque Pork Bun
  • Pan-Fried Curry Chicken Bun
  • Pan-Fried Pot Sticker
  • Almond Shrimp Ball
  • Vegetable Spring Roll
  • Dessert – Mochi Sweet Dumpling with Red Date Soup
  • Beverages – Jasmine pearl tea or Monkey Pick Oolong Tea

What to expect?

Our dining experience was catered by a Bellagio restaurant, Noodles. It is a favourite among the Bellagio restaurants for being well priced and quality dining with authentic dishes from all over Asia. So if you can’t snag a reservation at The Garden Table inside the Bellagio conservatory then you can enjoy Dim Sum at Noodles from 11 am to to 3 pm.

But if you are able to get a reservation during the Lunar New Year you simply walk into the conservatory and find the stand that shows The Garden Table. There will be at least one staff member there to greet you and confirm your reservation with your number of guests.
You can reserve up to 6 guests for lunch and brunch and 4 guests for dinner.

Reservation hours are from Monday to Sunday, 1 pm to 3 pm for lunch and 6 pm to 8 pm for dinner.
You need to adhere to the suggested Business casual attire, no flip flops, bathing suits and no tank tops allowed.

How much is it in 2024?

In 2024 their lunch dim sum experience is now $98 per person but considering this and all you get (including a little parting gift) it is worth the money. The parting gift in 2023 included fans for each guest, parting cartons filled with small Chinese cakes.

This was a once in a lifetime experience that I highly recommend. Would I do this each time I check out Las Vegas? Probably not, but the Bellagio conservatory dining experience made for a memorable lunch and would be a great idea for a small bachelorette party, a surprise on a birthday trip or something special for the foodie in your life.
